Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2015 Land Rover Range Rover. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V840000 (Steering); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while pulling into a parking lot, the front driverâs side tire dislocated and moved inward. The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic, where the steering knuckle and shock absorber were replaced. The local dealer was contacted; however, the parts were not yet available for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
