Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2010 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the gear shifter failed to shift out of park(P). There was no warning light illuminated. The contact attempted several times to move the gear shifter, but the gear shifter failed to respond. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.
