Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2023 Kenworth T680 with the camper attached. The contact stated that the ABS warning light was illuminated before the failure. The contact stated that while standing behind the passenger side seat in between the sleeper portion and the cab, there was an abnormally loud popping sound detected. The vehicle began to move and crashed into the door of an unknown tractor-trailer cab. The vehicle had been parked for approximately 45- 60 minutes before the crash. The contact had to seek medical assistance from a therapist due to the incident. There was no report of fire, airbag deployment, or police report filed. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
