Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-250. The contact stated while reserving, the back over prevention screen failed to display an image. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V598000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 98,000.
