Owner Narrative
I bought my 2014 Toyota Tundra in March 2014, with no chips or peeling paint. Fast-forward a couple of months, the paint around the top side of the windshield is chipping and peeling. Living in a state that gets snow & ice, I am concerned about the potential for rust. Toyota is aware of the issue with their Super White paint with other models (Service Bulletin 23TE08), such as the following: 2008â2009 Lexus GX 470 2008â2017 Toyota Avalon 2008â2017 Toyota Camry 2008â2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid 2008â2017 Toyota RAV4 2009â2018 Toyota Corolla 2010â2015 Toyota 4Runner 2011â2015 Scion xB 2012â2015 Scion iQ It is nonsensical to omit other models using the same Super White paint from this recall.
