The contact owns a 2014 Ram 2500. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle, he observed that the center of the dashboard had melted and bubbled up. The contact stated that the instrument panel then failed to display the necessary information. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 138,000.
