Owner Narrative

The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet 4500. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle with gasoline, there was gasoline spilling from the gas tank. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause for the failure was not yet determined. The failure persisted. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic, and it was diagnosed as a failure with the evaporator canister which needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,934. The VIN was not provided.
