Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2007 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, another motorist yelled out that the brake lights were not working. The vehicle was taken to the residence. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic four times where it was diagnosed that the housing, LED conversion, tail light bulb, socket, and connector needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 158,493.
