Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2010 Ford F-150. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the transmission inadvertently downshifted to first gear and the wheels locked up. The vehicle was steered to the side of the roadway and restarted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 75,000.
