The contact owns a 2022 Ford Transit. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V598000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the back-over prevention camera image on the screen was blue. The contact stated that he was not able to see objects directly behind the vehicle while reversing. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
