Complaint Summary
FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Owner Narrative
My 2007 Ford Edge lost the use of my accelerometer pedal without any warning, while driving. The pedal collapsed to the floor. The engine continued to run. A wrench image appeared on the dashboard. After towing to service station the gas pedal worked again. No codes could be determined during TWO diagnostic procedures. After the first mechanics could not determine or diagnose a problem, nor replicate the problem, I had it towed to my local Ford Dealership. Their diagnosis claimed no indication of an issue on their diagnostic computer either. Iâm afraid to drive my car.
