Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact stated that another vehicle crashed into her vehicle and damaged the front driver's side of the vehicle. The air bags deployed aggressively and emitted an unknown substance. The contact stated a police report had been filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard. The contact did receive medical attention. The contact stated that she sustained injury to her shoulder and bruises to her face and neck from the air bag. The contact stated the fumes from the air bag continue to give her headaches. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 220,000.
