BACK OVER PREVENTION

Owner Narrative

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Transit. The contact stated that the camera screen turned blue on the left and the right. The driver was unable to use the camera while reversing. The vehicle was turned off and restarted and the camera operated as needed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that an unknown update was needed. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was contacted, filed a case, and referred him to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.
