Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2011 Ford F-250. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the door ajar warning light illuminated and indicated that the rear passengerâs side door was open. The contact checked and confirmed that the door was securely closed. The contact stated that occasionally after closing and locking the door, the alarm would inadvertently activate after approximately an hour. The dealer was contacted and it was suggested that the vehicle be taken to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 234,395.
