Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that the frame of the vehicle was severely corroded. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel tank crossmember was corroded and the sub frame was severely corroded on both the driverâs and passengerâs side. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and advised the contact that the vehicle could not be repaired under an unknown frame corrosion recall because the recall had already expired. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 107,000.
