Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, an abnormal sound was heard, and the sunroof was opened halfway. The contact pulled over and noticed the sunroof glass had detached from the vehicle. There was no impact to the sunroof that could have caused it to detach. The contact did not sustain any injuries. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000. The VIN was unavailable.
