Owner Narrative

Excessive frame corrosion. I brought the vehicle in for the corrosion recall in 2018. against my objection, they determined that my frame did not have to be replaced and they coated the frame without removing the rust. I recently brought the truck in for service at a location repair shop where he notified me that my fuel tank supports have completely rust off of the frame. He dropped the fuel tank and found that Toyota had never dropped the tank and coated the cross members above the tank. The tank has been supported only by the filler hose, endangering my life and the life of my family. When I contacted Toyota, their response was they did what they were supposed to do.
