Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Ram. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the key fob released from the ignition without warning. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed the key fob released from the ignition while driving and reversing as the ignition module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 109,000. The contact stated that the failure was similar to NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V200000 (Electrical System).
