TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT A SLOW SPEED, THE STEERING CEASED WITH THE POWER STEERING DRIVE WITH CARE WARNING MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SONS CHEVROLET (3615 MANCHESTER EXPY, COLUMBUS, GA 31909) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE POWER STEERING ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V719000 (STEERING) AS A POSSIBLE SOLUTION HOWEVER, THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 25,000.
