TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2006 TOYOTA SEQUOIA. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH AND MAKING A LEFT TURN, THE DRIVER'S SIDE BALL JOINT FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE BALL JOINT WAS REPLACED. A YEAR LATER, WHILE THE CONTACT'S WIFE WAS DRIVING 70 MPH, THE PASSENGER SIDE BALL JOINT FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A MEDIAN. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND POLICE REPORT NUMBER: P190541059 WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND TOWED TO A TOW YARD. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 230,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
