TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS OR ACCELERATING FROM A STOP, THE VEHICLE JERKED, LOST POWER, AND SHUT DOWN. IN ADDITION, THE SERVICE SHIFTER INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AND WAS TAKEN TO CLASSIC CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM OF DENTON (940-230-2351, LOCATED AT 4984 S INTERSTATE 35, DENTON, TX 76210) WHERE THE SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 25,000.
