THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS, WHEEL BEARINGS, POWER STEERING GEAR BOX, PITMAN ARM, AND THE STEERING STABILIZER BRACE; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 178,000.
