Complaint Summary

STEERING

Owner Narrative

WHILE TRAVELING OVER 40 MPH AND HITTING SMALL BUMPS OR POT HOLES, OR SOMETIMES FOR NO APPARENT REASON THE FRONT TIRES WILL SHAKE VIOLENTLY BACK AND FORTH , SHAKING THE WHOLE VEHICLE, MAKING THE VEHICLE NEARLY UNCONTROLLABLE. COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE DEATH SHAKE". THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE SHAKE IS TO SLOW DOWN RAPIDLY. IT'S A TERRIFYING THING TO EXPERIENCE.

Owner-submitted narrative on file with NHTSA. Complaint narratives are self-reported and have not been verified.
