TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE DOWNSHIFTED TO A LOWER GEAR WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT CALLED THE FORD DEALER (NORM REEVES FORD LINCOLN, 18900 STUDEBAKER RD, CERRITOS, CA 90703) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V248000 (POWER TRAIN). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,063.
