TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 2 MPH, THE PINION BOLT LOOSENED AND FELL OFF, WHICH CAUSED THE DRIVE SHAFT TO FRACTURE AND ALSO DETACH. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SEIZE. ROBERT GREEN CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP IN MONTICELLO, NEW YORK WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V038000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 197,000.
