TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 RAM 1500. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND UNOCCUPIED WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, THE CONTACT HEARD A NOISE AND NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE ROLLED AWAY AND CRASHED INTO A TELEPHONE POLE. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVABLE. THE CONTACT CALLED MIKE SMITH CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE AT (409) 840-3560 (LOCATED AT 1945 I-10 SOUTH, BEAUMONT, TX 77701) WHERE AN APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED TO DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE THE FOLLOWING WEEK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V821000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000. *TR
