TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 DODGE RAM 2500. UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE FRONT DEFOGGER FAILED TO OPERATE CORRECTLY AND MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE OUT THE FRONT WINDSHIELD. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MILFORD CHRYSLER SALES (500 US-6, MILFORD, PA 18337 (570) 296-2636) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A DEFECTIVE BLEND DOOR THAT NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000.
