Owner Narrative
THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED WITHOUT ELECTRIC LOCKS BUT THE VAN DOESN'T HAVE A WAY OF UNLOCKING/LOCKING THE TWO FRONT DOOR FROM THE INTERIOR. MEANING IF THE PASSENGER WANTED TO UNLOCK/LOCK HIS DOOR HE COULDN'T. THE ONLY WAY OF LOCKING THE DOOR IS FROM OUTSIDE WITH THE KEY. I HAVE READ NHTSA DOOR LOCK REGULATIONS AND IT SAID THAT ALL DOORS MUST BE ABLE TO BE LOCKED/UNLOCKED FROM THE INTERIOR. WAS THIS RULE IN EFFECT IN 2006 WHEN THIS VEHICLE WAS PRODUCED? I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE MANUFACTURE FIX THIS PROBLEM IF THE VAN WAS NOT SAFETY COMPLIANCE WHEN IT WAS PRODUCED.
