TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-250. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL BEARING CAUGHT FIRE. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE HUB BEARING CAUGHT FIRE, WHICH ALSO SET THE REST OF THE TIRE ON FIRE. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 136,000.
