Owner Narrative
ELECTRIC POWER STEERING FAILED WHILE DRIVING. TRUCK TOWED TO A DEALER. AFTER REPLACING THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING MOTOR, ELECTRICAL LOOM AND THE BATTERY, WAS INFORMED THAT THE STEERING RACK FAILED - POSSIBLY DUE TO WATER PENETRATION INTO THE RACK AND PINION DRIVE. SUSPECT A FAULTY OR BADLY DESIGNED SEAL WHICH MAY BE THE CAUSE FOR THIE FAILURES ON THE 2014 SILVERADO TRUCKS
