TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 CHEVROLET SILVERADO. WHILE DRIVING AT 70 MPH, THE GEAR SHIFTED INDEPENDENTLY AND VARIOUS WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED PRIOR TO THE TRANSMISSION FAILING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,361.
