TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE REAR WINDSHIELD OF THE VEHICLE SHATTERED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED AN ARM LACERATION THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE REAR WINDSHIELD NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
