TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO. WHILE PARKED, THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS CORROSION ON A CONNECTOR NEAR THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE PRETENSIONER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CONNECTOR NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,000.
