SEAT BELTS
Owner Narrative
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO. WHILE PARKED, THE VEHICLE ROLLED AWAY. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE FRACTURED AND MULTIPLE WARNING LIGHTS WERE ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WERE MULTIPLE MESSAGES DISPLAYED ACROSS THE MESSAGE BOARD. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT FAILED TO BUCKLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURES RECURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
