TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL FAILED TO RESPOND WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT A WIRE SHORTAGE AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT LEVER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 215,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 215,100. UPDATED 2/3/15*CN UPDATED 8/30/2017*CN
