TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 GMC SIERRA 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD EITHER DISPLAY AN INACCURATE SPEED READING OR BECOME COMPLETELY INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE DEFECT WAS DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT A NEW INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED TO REMEDY THE DEFECT. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83000.
