Owner Narrative
PLEASE SEE NHTSA ACTION NUMBER PE08059. THIS ACTION DID NOT INCLUDE ENOUGH OF THE VEHICLE POPULATION!! THE MODEL YEAR 2007 DODGE RAM 1500 VEHICLES ARE ALSO IMPACTED BY THIS ISSUE AS WELL AS THE 2006 MODEL WHICH IS LISTED ON ACTION PE08059. MANY ONLINE COMPLAINTS VERIFY THAT THE VEHICLE POPULATION IS GREATER THAN JUST 2006 MODELS. CHRYSLER MUST IMPLEMENT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON 2007 VEHICLES AS WELL. WHEN THE TURN SIGNAL IS USED, THE VEHICLE SIGNALS THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND THE PROBLEM IS INTERMITTENT. THE PROBLEM RESULTS IN NEAR CRASH AS OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD EXPECT THE VEHICLE TO TURN OUT OF THEIR PATH BUT REALLY INTEND ON TURNING INTO THEIR PATH. *TR
