Owner Narrative

1. The high pressure fuel system failed, specifically the secondary fuel filter. The fire originated from the injector manifold, burning straight up to the bottom of the hood. Fuel was everywhere and the driver could obviously smell it. 2. This could have been a life threatening fire. 3. The problem has been confirmed by an independent fire safety company that was hired by our insurance. 4. The vehicle was inspected by insurance representatives and the fire department. 5. The Low Air buzzer went off in the cab, indicating the fire had burnt through the air lines to the brake system 6. It is notable that the 2021 Ford F-750 was recalled due to fire hazard.
