TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FORD F-350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS OVER ROAD BUMPS, HE WOULD HAVE TO OVER STEER IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE VEHICLE IN ONE LANE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED THE GEAR BOX AS A TEMPORARY REMEDY. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 175,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 187,000. UPDATED 8/23/12 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED IN THE ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE THE FOLLOWING REPAIRS WERE MADE: NEW BALL JOINTS, TIE ROD ENDS, 3 NEW GEAR BOXES, 3 NEW STEERING PUMPS, NEW STABILIZERS, NEW U JOINTS IN THE FRONT AXLE, NEW STEERING COLUMN, AND 3 ALIGNMENTS.
