TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 GMC SIERRA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED A BURSTING SOUND EMITTED WHEN THE BRAKES WERE DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT CONFIRMED THAT THERE WAS CORROSION ON THE BRAKE LINE AND A LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 137,000.
