Owner Narrative

Dear NHTSA Safety Investigation Team, I am filing an urgent safety complaint regarding dangerous and premature inner-edge rear tire wear on my 2022 Tesla Model X. I have already been forced to replace five tires due to excessive inner-edge wear, which I believe is caused by improper rear suspension camber. Despite repeatedly raising this concern, Tesla has failed to provide a permanent solution. This is a critical safety hazard, not routine tire wear. The damage occurs on the inner edges of the tires, making it difficult to detect and creating a serious risk of sudden tire failure, loss of vehicle control, and potentially catastrophic highway accidents. Similar complaints from other Model X owners suggest a possible widespread suspension-related defect. I strongly urge NHTSA to investigate the 2022 Tesla Model X rear suspension design and determine whether an immediate safety recall or mandatory corrective action is warranted before lives are lost. Sincerely, [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] 2022 Tesla Model X Owner INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
