Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, the transmission unexpectedly downshifted and the powertrain warning light illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V237000 (Power Train). The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the recall repair was performed; however, after leaving the dealer, the powertrain warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the GPS became inoperable with the "Navigation Fault" message displayed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 162,000.
