Owner Narrative
The contact owns a Thomashilfen Recaro Monza Nova 2 Latch Reha Booster car seat, Manufactured Date: July 05, 2023, installed in a 2021 Infiniti QX-80. The contact stated while removing the car seat, the contact became aware that the tether at the top of the car seat had detached from the T-bar in the rear of the car seat. The contact also stated that the car seat had broken in half. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure cause was not yet determined; however, the manufacturer agreed to send the contact a replacement car seat if the contact paid for the shipping.
