Owner Narrative

Engine starter of my BMW X7 failed and required replacement. BMW has issued a safety recall "campaign number 24V-576: Engine Starter" related to this issue. Engine starter on my vehicle failed before I had a chance to get software upgrade as suggested by BMW.
