Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2020 Escape trailer Industries RV. The contact stated while cooking on the stove top in the trailer, the contact smelled an abnormal propane odor coming from the stove top. The contact continued to cook until the propane sensor alarmed which caused the contact to check the connection to the propane tank. The contact noticed that the wiring to the propane regulator was loose. The contact tightened the wiring on the propane tank however, several days later the abnormal odor returned while attempting to cook on the stove top. The contact attempted to reach out to a local dealer to have the trailer and propane stove top inspected for the cause of failure however, the dealer stated they would not be able to investigate the issue for another two months. The trailer was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
