Owner Narrative
The contact owns a 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS53. The contact stated that the passengerâs side rear rim was cracked. The passengerâs side front rim was also cracked. The contact stated that the tire pressure was low. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a wheel repair shop, and the rims were replaced. The contact called the local dealer and was informed that there were no associated recalls for the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.
