My vehicle is subject to open recall N627 regarding the crankcase ventilation assembly. I brought the vehicle to my authorized dealer to have this recall performed. The dealer confirmed the recall applies to my vehicle but informed me that the required replacement part has been on backorder and unavailable for approximately 4 months. As a result, the recall repair has not been completed and my vehicle remains in an unrepaired, potentially unsafe condition. I am filing this complaint because the manufacturer has failed to make the remedy part available within a reasonable time, leaving an open safety recall unresolved for an extended period. I am requesting that NHTSA look into the delay in parts availability for this recall and press the manufacturer for a timely resolution.
