Owner Narrative

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle failed to properly accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to the local O'Reilly's and was diagnosed with transmission failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the VIN was not eligible for Customer Satisfaction Program: 14M02 (Extended Warranty Coverage for TCM) related to the failure. The failure mileage was 79,000.
