Complaint Summary
VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
Owner Narrative
The cruise control will disconnect randomly causing sudden deceleration. Sometimes it will go off almost immediately after setting it and others it may stay engaged for several miles. It disengaging randomly is a safety issue as Iâm not expecting the sudden deceleration and it could cause a vehicle that is following closely to hit me. This issue has been present since I purchased the vehicle and it has been looked at 3 times by the dealer. The first time they adjusted the brake pedal switch, the second time that switch was replaced under recall and the last time the cruise control cable was replaced.
