The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle stalled, and the transmission shift cable fractured. No warning lights illuminated. The contact received notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V674000 (Power Train); however, the part to complete the recall repair was unavailable. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic shop for a diagnosis; however, the vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
